After what seems like a million years, it is time to burn some rubber and rip the tarmac, and get some payback on my Road Taxes ! All prepped, this time, no side boxes for stuff, removed those this morning. Inaugurated my Via-Terra Leh Saddle bag, (which btw – DOES NOT GET FULL). I have so far stuffed it with 2 big cans of engine oil, Bike Paperwork, Spanner sets, Some bike spares, Bungee cords, a couple of Gatorades, 4 litres of water bottles, energy bars, cleaning equipment (Yes, I keep my bike clean), and it still sags like “That’s all you got ??” Anyhow – taking my military backpack as well for my clothes, gadgets, so that will be mounted over the rear seat and fastened with bungees.
3 main items on agenda – Meet my “little-doctor-sis”, Eat lots of Vada pav and camp on the way back through coastal areas and Jungles… 9-10 days in all !
